New Delhi, 4/9:  Next time if you go to a government office and the officer tells you that he is taking a yoga break for 5 minutes, then there is no need to be surprised. In fact, the government wants their staff to be fresh during the work now. Therefore, all government employees have been asked to download an app Y-Break App. The methods and benefits of yoga have been told in this app. This app has been developed by the Ministry of AYUSH. This order was issued by the government on September 2.

The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), in an order issued two days ago, has asked all the ministries to promote this app. The order reads, ‘All Ministries and Departments of the Government of India are requested to promote the use of Y-Break app.’ Go

The Ministry of AYUSH had launched the mobile application a day back in a big function in which six ministers participated. DoPT Minister Jitendra Singh was also present at the function and urged Law Minister Kiren Rijiju to “make rules on Yoga break for five minutes at workplace so that people can take advantage of it”.
