New Delhi, 17/9:On the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday, a new record for Corona Vaccination has been set. Till 5 pm, more than 2 crore vaccine doses have been administered across the country. On PM Modi’s birthday, BJP had set a target of injecting two crore vaccine doses. On this occasion, the speed of the vaccination program can be gauged from the fact that more than 527 doses have been applied every second. More than 19 lakh doses have been given every hour.
According to the data available on Co-Win Post, a total of 2,00,41,136 doses of vaccines were given across the country till 5.10 pm. A total of 78.68 crore vaccines have been administered in the country so far. For the fourth time in less than a month, more than one crore vaccines were administered in a day. Earlier, Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said that the country has crossed the mark of giving one crore (anti-Covid vaccine) doses the fastest so far.
He said in a tweet, “On the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country has crossed the mark of giving one crore doses till 1:30 pm, the fastest and we are moving forward continuously. I am sure that today we will all set a new record of vaccination and will gift it to the Prime Minister.” On September 6, August 31, August 27, more than one crore doses were given in the country. Mandaviya had said on Thursday that those who have not taken a dose of vaccine, such loved ones, family members and all sections of the society should be given birthday gifts by getting them vaccinated on the Prime Minister’s birthday on Friday.
