New Delhi, 30/9: The problems of Congress Top Leadership are not taking the name of diminishing. After the displeasure of Kapil Sibal a day ago, now former Union Minister Natwar Singh has criticized the Nehru-Gandhi family. He said- ‘The party is not going well at all. This never happened. There is neither working committee meeting nor AICC meeting. It is just these three people out of whom one does not even hold any position and is taking the same decisions. These people took the decision to remove Amarinder Singh.
He said- ‘Amarinder is a very senior man in Congress. Been doing politics for 52 years. You are doing this with them! And who do they bring in their place? Navjot Singh Sidhu! He had resigned from Rajya Sabha and then went to Hamid Ansari sahib that I want to withdraw. So Ansari sahib had said that this decision cannot be reversed.
A day before this, senior Congress leader and former Union Minister Kapil Sibal has expressed displeasure with the top leadership regarding the leaders separating from the party. He mentioned leaders like Jyotiraditya Scindia, Jitin Prasad, Sushmita Dev, Luizinho Felerio. Sibal’s displeasure came after Navjot Singh Sidhu detonated the ‘resignation bomb’ in Punjab on Tuesday. Sibal said in the press conference, ‘We are members of G-23, not of Ji Huzoor 23. We will continue to raise our issues.” He said that he is saying this on behalf of like-minded people in the party.
