Dubai, 6/10:The ICC T20 World Cup is going to start from October 17 in the hosting of Oman and United Arab Emirates (UAE). All the teams have also selected players for this global tournament. At present, many players are also trying their hands in IPL. Earlier, West Indies captain Kieron Pollard has selected the top-5 players of the T20 format. Pollard has given place to only Mahendra Singh Dhoni (MS Dhoni) from India in this team. Apart from Dhoni, Lasith Malinga, one of the great fast bowlers of Sri Lanka, Chris Gayle and Sunil Narine of West Indies have also been included.
His teammate Chris Gayle is the first in the list of Pollard’s top-5 T20 cricketers. No one needs to say anything about the abilities of the ‘Universe Boss’ as he answers the bowlers and opponents with his bat. Gayle has a total of 1854 runs in 74 T20 Internationals. He has scored 14,276 runs in 448 matches in all T20s including franchise cricket and is the top scorer in this format. Pollard chose Sri Lankan legend Malinga at number two. Malinga has taken a total of 107 wickets in 84 T20 Internationals.
