Prashant Kishore to join Congress after assembly elections

New Delhi, 10/10: The discussion going on for the last several days about the joining of election strategist Prashant Kishor in the Congress seems to have come to a complete stop. There is news that at present Prashant Kishor will not join the Congress. According to a report published in India Today, Prashant Kishor’s formal entry into the Congress will be possible only after the upcoming assembly elections in five states (Punjab, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Goa and Manipur).

It has been told in the report that Prashant Kishor has no role in making Charanjit Singh Channi the Chief Minister of Punjab. Channi’s name was given by Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi took a quick decision on it. According to experts, the political understanding of Congress and PK is limited to the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. According to Congress sources, when Prashant Kishor met Congress President Sonia Gandhi, his talk was focused on reforms in the Congress, organizational changes, institutionalization of ticket distribution system, electoral alliances, donations etc.
