Odisha Cabinet Decision: Contractual employees to be called as Initial Appointees

Bhubaneswar, 11/10:In a major decision , Odisha cabinet has approved the amendment of Contractual Appoint Rules, 2013.As per the new rules, the contractual government employees will now be called ‘Initial appointees’ . The staff in Group B, C and D category of posts will be benefitted by this amendment.

The Cabinet meeting led by Chief minister Naveen Patnaik approved the amendment.The State Cabinet also took 16 other crucial decisions concerning various departments today.
