Drugs case: Court extends Aryan Khan’s judicial custody till October 30

Mumbai, 21/10: A special court of NDPS has extended till October 30 the judicial custody of Aryan Khan, son of actor Shahrukh Khan, who was arrested in connection with the discovery of drugs on a cruise ship. The judicial custody of Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha, who were arrested along with Aryan Khan, has also been extended. Earlier on Wednesday, the special court had refused bail to Aryan Khan. Soon after, the lawyers of Aryan Khan and Dhamecha moved the High Court for bail.

The Bombay High Court will hear Khan’s bail plea on October 26. Aryan Khan’s lawyer Satish Manshinde on Friday presented the petition before a single bench of Justice NW Sambre and requested for an urgent hearing. At the same time, Additional Solicitor General Anil Singh, appearing for the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), sought time till next week. Justice N W Sambre then fixed October 26 for hearing. The court will also hear the bail plea of ​​fashion model Munmun Dhamecha arrested in the same case that day.
