Chandigarh, 15/11Former Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has rubbished claims of a cabinet minister that he will return to Congress and meet party president Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi soon. . Talking to the Times of India, Amarinder said that these are malicious and mischievous notions, which have apparently been created with an ulterior motive. Earlier, Social Justice Minister Raj Kumar Verka had given a statement in Amritsar that Amarinder may return to Congress soon.
He said that since he is busy in shaping his party and finalizing its organizational structure and there is no question of looking back for him. The Captain said that we are waiting for the registration of our party Punjab Lok Congress and allotment of the party symbol by the Election Commission of India
