New Delhi, 1/12:Petrol-Diesel can be cheaper in Delhi as compared to Uttar Pradesh and Haryana. The cabinet meeting of the Delhi government has been kept at 11:30 am today. Kejriwal government can take a decision on reducing VAT on petrol in the meeting. At present, petrol in Delhi is costlier by Rs 8 to 9 per liter as compared to Uttar Pradesh.
On the previous day, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that the calculation is going on to reduce VAT, whatever they do, they will do concrete. In response to how long this will be done, the CM said that Deputy CM Manish Sisodia is also looking into it and a decision will be taken soon. Although VAT has been reduced in UP and Haryana so far, but no decision has been taken in Delhi regarding this
