Eluru, 14/4: A blast in a private chemicals factory in Eluru district of Andhra Pradesh has killed six workers and injured a dozen.
The incident occurred early Thursday morning in Porus Labs factory located at Akkireddygudem.
A fire that spread because of a gas leak reportedly caused a reactor blast killing five workers on the spot. Another person died while being taken to the hospital.
Twelve workers who suffered major burns are undergoing treatment in Vijayawada Government General Hospital. Some of them are stated to be in a critical condition.
