Dhamnagar, 12/10:In a major development, the ruling party Biju Janata Dal (BJD) today announced Tihidi Block Chairperson Abanti Das as its candidate for the by-election to be held for the Dhamnagar assembly constituency.BJD president and CM Naveen Patnaik approved her candidature.
Abanti Das has long grassroots experience as she was actively involved in Mission Shakti Self Help Groups (SHGs).
