JSP Foundation’s “Utkarsh” becomes the pathfinder for Angul’s Satyabrat

Student of JSP Foundation’s Utkarsh programme Mr Satyabrat Mohapatra has cleared Odisha Civil Service Examination 2020. Son of a hawker in Angul bus stand and physically challenged Satyabrat cracked this prestigious examination with a rank of 279.

 

Mr. Hridayeswar Jha, Executive Director & Location Head of JSP Angul, felicitated him for his remarkable achievement in the Odisha Civil Services Examination and wished him all success in future endeavours.

 

 

 

Mr. Satyabrat Mohapatra, son of Angul’s Mr Srikant Mohapatra and Mrs. Sumitra Mohapatra, achieved this success fighting the challenges of physical disability and poor economic condition of the family. A left-hander but meritorious, Satyabrat managed his studies with scholarships all though his educational career. He has completed bachelor’s degree in Agriculture from Odisha University of Agriculture & Technology (OUAT).

 

 

 

He joined JSP Foundation’s Utkarsh, which offers free civil service coaching classes in association with Gurukul Foundation’s IAS Gurukul. Inspired by the inaugural words of JSP Foundation’s message by Ms Shallu Jindal, the Chairperson of JSP Foundation, Satyabrata worked hard undeterred by his physical challenges with the support of the Foundation. The mentors of the coaching programme helped Satyabrat successfully prepare for preliminary, written and viva voce rounds of the examination, conducted by Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC).

 

“This is an important milestone in my life and I will try for IAS soon. I am grateful to JSP Foundation, which in collaboration with Gurukul Foundation’s IAS Gurukul, is helping aspirants of Odisha,” said Satyabrat.

 

 

 

With “Utkarsh” free online pre-recruitment coaching by JSP Foundation, nearly 60 candidates have become successful in various stages of different competitive exams such as a bank, railway, paramilitary, police, RI, State Government, Central Government, Secretariat, Assistant professor, teacher, engineer & corporate jobs etc. & nearly 20 of them joined in higher studies in Masters, MBA, Ph.D and B.Ed courses etc., through competitive exams at state and state universities.
