Town Official Language Implementation Committee (Bank), Bhubansewar under the Chairmanship of State Bank of Indiaawardedwith national level ‘NarakaasRajbhashaSamman’

Bhubaneswar :Town Official Language Implementation Committee (Bank), Bhubaneswar, under the chairmanship of State Bank of India, Local Head Office, Bhubaneswar has been awarded with ‘NarakaasRajbhashaSamman’ for the year 2022-23 by Government of India. During the Hindi Day and Third All India Official Language Conference organized by Government of India, on 14 and 15 September 2023 at Shri Shiv Chhatrapati Shivaji Sports Complex, Pune, Maharashtra, His Excellency the Governor of Kerala, Shri Arif Mohammed Khan and Honourable Minister of State for Home Shri Ajay Kumar Mishra conferred the Award and Certificate to Chaiman, TOLIC (Bank), Bhubaneswar and Chief General Manager, State Bank of India, Bhubaneswar Circle, Shri ChanderShekhar Sharma  and Deputy General Manager and Circle Development Officer, State Bank of India, Bhubaneswar Shri Manoj Kumar Singh. Many distinguished guests, dignitaries, renowned litterateurs, Officials of Central Government,senior executives of various Ministries, Departments, Banks, PSUs, Corporations, Official Language Officers and about 8000 Hindi enthusiasts were present in this ceremony.

Out of the 528 Town Official Language Implementation Committees currently functioning across the country, only 9 committees were awarded the ‘NarakaasRajbhashaSamman’ for their excellent performance in the propagation of Official Language according to the OL policy of the Govt. It is noteworthy that TOLIC (Bank), Bhubaneswar has received the ‘Rajbhasha Kirti’ award thrice at All India level for its best performance in the promotion of the Official Language.
