Farmers end their protest against Farm laws

New Delhi, 9/12: The agitating farmers have decided to withdraw the agitation after the central government repealed three agricultural laws in the winter session of Parliament. However, there will be another meeting of the farmers in which a formal decision will be taken to end the agitation. On the other hand, farmers’ organizations say that they will start vacating the five borders of Delhi from December 11. Let us tell you that on November 19 last month, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, apologizing, had announced to withdraw all the three laws. However, even after that the farmers persisted.

He said that he will not go back until the government withdraws the law in Parliament. After this, he also demanded compensation to the families of farmers killed during the agitation, withdrawal of the cases registered. Also demanded a law on the issue of Minimum Support Price. The government has also constituted a committee in this regard.

 

Formal decision to be taken on December 15
On Thursday, after review by the farmers on 15th, a formal decision will be taken on ending the agitation. However, some other farmers told ‘we will leave from here’. Will clear all borders from 11th. We are going through the borders. Will talk to the government on MSP. We have a meeting on 15th also.’ According to the information received, all the farmer leaders can also go to the Golden Temple to pay their respects on December 13. It was told that the farmers will also move from all the toll plazas of Punjab. The dharna at the toll plazas will be removed on December 15, so it is believed that after the 15th, the toll tax will start on the roads of Punjab.
