Oxford-AstraZeneca Coronavirus vaccine approved to use in UK

London, 30/12 (AO Bureau): The Coronavirus new strain is creating havoc in Britain. In the meanwhile , Britain government has approved the use of the Oxford-AstraZeneca Coronavirus vaccine. It may lead to a massive immunization campaign in Britain.

According to the Health Secretary Matt Hancock, “The rollout will start on 4 January “and will really accelerate into the first few weeks of next year”.

Oxford-AstraZeneca Coronavirus vaccine is the second vaccine to be approved by the UK government . Previously, the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine was given the go-ahead in December.

More than 6,00,000 people have been vaccinated in England.
