New Delhi, 31/12 (AO Bureau): The Crime Branch of Delhi Police has filed its charge sheet on Thursday against the accused Umar Khalid in Delhi Violence. In the nearly 100-page charge sheet, there have been many serious charges against Omar Khalid, including rioting, a conspiracy of riots, giving an anti-national speech. The charge sheet states that on 8 January, in Shaheen Bagh, Umar Khalid, Khalid Saifi, and Tahir Hussain had a meeting to plot the Delhi riots.
Delhi Police has alleged in its charge sheet that Omar Khalid not only visited several states to provoke anti-CAA demonstrations but also provoked people to riot by making inflammatory speeches. Delhi Police has said in its charge sheet that Umar Khalid was involved in anti-CAA protests in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Bihar, and Maharashtra. It is alleged that during this time, Amar Khalid through his inflammatory speech incited people to violence. Apart from this, the charge sheet also states that for the states in which Umar Khalid went, he had to arrange for movement and stay by the protesters.
The new name came in the charge sheet of Crime Branch
The Crime Branch of Delhi Police has revealed a new name along with Omar Khalid in his charge sheet. It has been told in the charge sheet that the Delhi supporter Protest Whatsapp group was also formed by a person named Rahul Rai. Delhi violence was also planned through this group and anti-CAA demonstrations were conducted. Recently under the UAPA, the Special Cell of Delhi Police has filed a charge sheet against Umar Khalid.
