Mumbai, 8/1 (AO Bureau): It has been more than 7 months since the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput . The responsibility of investigating his death has been given to the CBI. Apart from this, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) is also conducting a separate investigation regarding the drugs angle. Meanwhile, there is news that NCB is now looking for Sushant’s former assistant director Rishikesh Pawar. He is absconding for a long time. It is alleged that Rishikesh Pawar also used to supply drugs to Sushant Singh Rajput.
Pawar had recently reached the court for anticipatory bail. They feared being arrested. On Thursday, the NDPS court dismissed his bail plea. After this, the NCB has stepped up their search. Zonal Director of NCB Sameer Wankhede told the English newspaper Times of India that he is looking for Pawar. It is being said that Pawar worked with Sushant Singh for some time. But he was removed last year.
NCB in search of Pawar
NCB officials say Pawar lives in Chembur, Mumbai. He was fired. But despite this, he used to constantly visit Sushant at his flat. According to an NCB official, he wanted to interrogate Pawar about the drugs angle. But Pawar was not cooperating in the investigation. Despite the summons being issued, Pawar refused to come for questioning. Since then, his role, in this case, is considered suspicious.
