Kota becomes example of organ and eye donation

Kota, 11/1 (AO Bureau): Coaching City Kota of Rajasthan not only burns the flame of education, examples of humanity are also being made there. Even though the entire world was in the shadow of despair in the Lockdown and Corona era (COVID-19), the Kota division was on a mission to make people aware of eye donation and organ donation. The awareness which has increased in Hadoti division towards eye donation, organ donation, and body donation is the highest in entire Rajasthan.

During the Corona period, about 550 people set an example of humanity by filling a resolution letter for eye donation. A total of 1020 people have pledged eye donation in Kota and this trend continues. Within a span of 10 months of the lockdown, people received all kinds of resolution letters from the Shine India Foundation. After that, the members filled the pledge from their home and received the citation on the spot, and honored them.

Dr. Kulwant Gaur of Shine India Foundation told that the entire world has become alert about his health during the Corona period. At the same time, the spirit of saving the lives of others in the coaching city has been seen well this year. According to data, about 470 vows of eye donation have been filled by Shine India Foundation last year, while 130 people have announced their body by filling the pledge of the institution. At the same time, Bhupendra Singh Hada of the Eye Retrieval Center of the largest MBS hospital in the division says that the awareness campaigns conducted on eye donation proved to be successful even during the corona transition.
