Mumbai, 17/1 (AO Bureau): Ahead of the upcoming cash-rich Indian Premier League season, the mini-auction is likely to be held on February 16. The players who are out of contract or want to be featured in the auction list will have to make their registrations can do so via online mode before February 4th, 2021.
The franchises have been informed to submit their retention list of players for IPL 2021 by 20th January 2021. BCCI also informed that no player agents or player managers will be involved in this process.
BCCI also mentions that the players who won’t abide by the rules will be discarded from the auction process. The state associations have also been informed that a unique password and login ID will be sent to them in a separate email. The entire process will be online.
