Priyanka Gandhi Vadra hits out at BJP over Farmer Protest

New Delhi, 29/1 (AO Bureau ): The Congress party has given its support to the farmers opposing the new farm laws. On Friday too, party general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has described the attack on farmers as an attack on the country. On the occasion of Republic Day on 26 January, farmers organized a Tractor Parade in the capital Delhi. After which violence erupted. At present, the police have registered a case against the miscreants, including some farmer leaders.

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra said, ‘Trust in farmers is the biggest capital of the country’. At the same time, he said ‘breaking their trust is a crime. Not listening to his voice is a sin. Threatening them is a great sin. He said that the attack on farmers is an attack on the country. He has also accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of weakening the country. He said, ‘I request the Prime Minister not to weaken the country’.

During the 72nd Republic Day, farmers were organizing a tractor rally in protest against the central agricultural laws. During that time Gandhi gave the slogan of Jai Jawan Jai Kisan. Since this incident, the police administration seems very active. A meeting has also been held between Delhi Police officials and Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Shah has ordered the police to take strict action against the accused.
