Comedian Munawar Farooqui get bail from Supreme Court

New Delhi,5/2 (AO Bureau)Comedian Munawar Farooqui has received a huge relief from the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court has approved the bail of Munawar Faruqui during the hearing on Friday after his bail plea was rejected from the Indore bench of the High Court. Along with this, the Supreme Court has issued a notice to the state government seeking an answer in this matter. Let me tell you that Munawar Farooqui has been accused of making objectionable remarks on Hindu deities and other leaders including Union Home Minister Amit Shah in a comedy show. After this, he was arrested.

Comedian Munawar Farooqui was lodged in the Central Jail for the last 1 month. He had applied for bail in the Indore District Court and High Court. But his bail plea was rejected in both courts. In this case, advocate Vivek Tankha, Anshuman Srivastava are fighting the case on behalf of Munawar Farooqui. He said that such indecent remarks were not made by Munawar Farooqui in Indore. But, the court did not agree.
