Lockdown extended in Delhi

New Delhi, 25/4 9AO Bureau):The Delhi government has officially acknowledged that the corona in Delhi is not decreasing. In view of this, the period of lockdown in Delhi has been extended. The lockdown in Delhi will be on Monday, May 3 till 5 am. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has announced this. At the same time, he has said that there is still a lack of oxygen in the capital.

CM Kejriwal said, ‘Corona continues to wreak havoc in Delhi. The lockdown in Delhi is being extended to 5 am next Monday. During the lockdown we saw that the positivity rate reached about 36-37 percent, we have not seen such an infection rate in Delhi till date. The infection rate has decreased slightly for the last one or two days and today it has come down to 30 percent.

Kejriwal further said, ‘Delhi needs 700 tonnes of oxygen, we have been allocated 480 tonnes of oxygen from the central government and yesterday the central government has allocated 10 tonnes more, now Delhi has been allocated 490 tonnes of oxygen. But this entire allocation is also not coming to Delhi, 330-335 tonnes of oxygen arrived in Delhi yesterday. We have created a portal for the management of oxygen. Everyone from the producer to the hospital will have to report their oxygen status every two hours. There is a lot of support from the central government, the central and Delhi governments are working together.
