Eminent Gandhian and independent fighter HS Doraswamy defeats Corona at the age of 103

Bengaluru , 12/5 (AO Bureau): Eminent Gandhian and independent fighter HS Doraswamy has won the battle with Covid at the age of 103 and is returning home. Elder Doraiswamy said on Wednesday, “I saw the symptoms five days ago but there was no complication.” Nevertheless, I decided to be admitted to the hospital, because I have respiratory problems. ”

According to Doraswamy, he was admitted to the Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences and Research, a government-owned autonomous hospital.

Sources close to him said that Dr. CN Manjunath, director of Jaydev Institute, a well-known cardiologist and son-in-law of former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda, was personally monitoring his treatment.

Participated in Quit India Movement and Mysuru Chalo Movement
Doraswamy took part in the Quit India Movement and spent 14 months in jail from 1943 to 1944. The Gandhians also took part in the Mysuru Chalo movement, due to which the Maharaj of Mysore had to merge his princely state with the Indian Union after independence.
