New Delhi, 30/5 (AO Bureau):Annoyed by Yoga Guru Ramdev’s comments on allopathy, the Association of Resident Doctors said on Saturday that they would hold a nationwide protest on June 1 and celebrate it as Black Day. The confederation issued a statement asking Ramdev to ‘publicly apologize unconditionally’.

Controversy erupted when Ramdev questioned some of the drugs used to treat the Corona virus infected people. Recently, in a video released on social media, Baba Ramdev is reportedly seen allopathy as ‘a stoopid’ and ‘bankrupt science’. In the video, Ramdev can be heard saying that ‘millions of people died due to taking allopathic medicines for Covid-19’. He can also be heard questioning some of the medicines being used to treat the corona virus.

Ramdev’s comments were strongly opposed, after which Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan asked him to withdraw his ‘very unfortunate’ statement. Ramdev was forced to withdraw his statement on Sunday (23 May). The next day he wrote an open letter to the Indian Medical Association (IMA) and asked 25 questions. He asked if allopathy gets rid of diseases permanently.

Meanwhile, the Bengal unit of the Indian Medical Association (IMA) has lodged a police complaint against yoga guru Ramdev for his alleged remarks that several Covid-19 patients, including doctors, died because modern medicines did not cure the disease. can. The organization has lodged a complaint at Kolkata’s Sinthi police station on Friday (May 28) accusing Ramdev of creating “misleading and false information” during the epidemic and creating confusion among the public.
