New Delhi, 7/6 (Ao Bureau): At present, vaccination campaign is going on in the country to protect against Coronavirus. Meanwhile, there have been many debates as to which vaccine makes more antibodies between Covishield and Covaxin. Meanwhile, a research has claimed that more antibodies have developed in the body of those taking Kovashield as compared to Covaxin. This research was done with healthcare workers who have received both doses of either Covishield or Covaxin.
This research has been done by Corona Virus Vaccine Induced Antibody Titer ie COVAT. It found that the seropositivity rate associated with anti-spike antibodies in those taking Covashield was significantly higher than in those taking Covaxin. However, this research has not been published yet. Therefore, it cannot be used in clinical practice right now. Although researchers say that both vaccines have developed good immunity. It has been revealed in this research that after taking both doses of Covishield and Covaxin, there is a better response in the body. But the seropositivity rate has been found to be higher only in those taking Covidshield.
