Mukul Roy asked Home Ministry to withdraw central security

Kolkatta, 12/6 (AO Bureau): Mukul Roy, who left the BJP and joined TMC on Friday, has written a letter to the Home Ministry asking that the central security given to him be withdrawn. However, there has been no response from the Ministry of Home Affairs on this letter yet. After coming to TMC, the Bengal government has given him state level security.

Mukul Roy, who left the TMC four years ago and joined the BJP, once again returned to the Trinamool Congress in the presence of TMC chief Mamata Banerjee, party’s national general secretary and Mamata’s nephew Abhishek Banerjee and several top party leaders. His son Shubhranshu also joined TMC with him. Now a day after joining the party, he has sent a letter to the Ministry of Home Affairs to return the central security.

Giving his first reaction after joining TMC, Mukul Roy said that Bengal has returned to its place again today. Bengal belongs to Mamata Banerjee and will remain so. He said that I was not able to stay in BJP, in the situation which is in Bengal now, no one will remain in BJP.
