New Delhi,28/7 :West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee met Congress President Sonia Gandhi and Wayanad MP and former Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday. After this meeting, Mamta said that it is necessary for everyone to be united to defeat the Bharatiya Janata Party. After the meeting, Mamta told reporters that she discussed issues like the current political situation, Pegasus controversy, opposition solidarity with Sonia Gandhi.

Mamta said that the meeting was positive and Rahul Gandhi was also present in it. Mamta Banerjee said that it is important for the public to know the truth on the Pegasus issue. Mamta Banerjee said that Sonia Gandhi also wants the unity of the opposition. He said that Congress believes in local parties and local parties on Congress.
