Juhi Chawla had moved the Delhi High Court on May 31 and raised issues related to the effect of radiation on people, animals and plants and animals. Justice Jayant Nath has given permission to withdraw the petition after the statement issued by Juhi Chawla’s lawyer Deepak Khosla. Juhi’s counsel argued that the plaintiff (Juhi Chawla) ‘never reached the stage of trial’, can only be dismissed or returned in terms of the Code of Civil Procedure.
