Kolkatta, 25/4 (AO Bureau):A shocking sight was seen on Saturday at a government hospital in Jangipur in Murshidabad district of West Bengal, where people were submitting their swab samples for the Corona Virus Test (COVID-19 Test) on their own. During this time no staff of the hospital was present there. A senior health department official said that a reply has been sought from Jangipur Hospital on this matter.
Without knowing how to do this, a large number of people were seen taking a swab from their throats themselves, then after depositing the saliva, placed it in a tube as well. During this whole process, there was only one hospital employee, who was writing the details of the people who came for the test.
One woman said, ‘I took my swab sample myself. It was a difficult task, but after two to three attempts, I was able to do it. Although I do not know if I have submitted the swab sample correctly or not. I have put the sample there. The woman said that she had come to get her corona test done because her mother’s corona is infected. At the same time, the person writing the details of the people coming for the test claimed that he is an employee of the hospital.
