Chandigarh, 15/6 (AO Bureau): Akali and BSP workers have come out on the streets on Tuesday in connection with the Corona Kit scam in Punjab. In Siswan, workers of both the parties, led by Shiromani Akali Dal president Sukhbir Singh Badal, took to the road in large numbers and protested against the Captain Amarinder Singh government. During this, many Akali Dal and BSP workers including Sukhbir Singh Badal have been detained.
In fact, Akali Dal and BSP workers were protesting a short distance from the Captain’s house. The Akali Dal is demanding an investigation into the Kovid kit scam and the removal of Health Minister Balvir Singh in the Captain’s government.

The protest was so strong that Akali and BSP workers were bent upon breaking the barricades, on which the police had to use water cannon. During this there was also a scuffle with the police. After which the police took SAD chief Sukhbir Badal and former minister Bikram Majithia into custody.
Badal gave an ultimatum till June 15
This is the biggest demonstration against Captain Sarkar in the last four and a half years. The Akali Dal has also accused the Captain Sarkar of making profits by selling the Corona vaccine to private hospitals. The opposition is also accusing the Captain government of saving Health Minister Balveer Singh. The opposition is asking the question that how did the vaccine which was bought to give to government hospitals reach private hospitals? Earlier, Sukhbir Badal had given an ultimatum to the Captain Sarkar that if the Health Minister was not removed by June 15, he would come to surround his farm house.
